Job summary

SKILL CORNER (M) SDN BHD in Penang is looking for a Production Operator to operate production machines and prepare materials. You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards and assisting in various production tasks.

The ideal candidate should have primary school education or above with basic reading, counting, measurement skills, and a positive attitude. Training will be provided for suitable candidates, and there are opportunities for career development.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Operate production machines according to job requirements
• Prepare materials and machine settings before production
• Follow drawings, measurements and production specifications accurately
• Check finished products for quality, dimensions and accuracy
• Assist with cutting, printing, fabrication and general production works
• Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance
• Maintain proper 5S practices in the production area
• Keep tools, materials and workstations organised and in good condition
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
• Report machine issues or production problems to the supervisor
• Complete assigned production tasks within the required timeline

Requirements

• Primary school education or above

• Experience in signage, printing, fabrication or machine operation is an advantage

• Must have own transport
