Job summary

PAC Worldwide Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking operators for its plastic manufacturing lines. The role requires 2 years in manufacturing, preferably plastics, with the ability to read, write, and count.

Candidates must be computer literate and able to work shifts and overtime, including holidays and rest days. Responsibilities include raw material stock updates, preparing paper cores, managing storage and scraps, and maintaining reporting and notice boards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics.

Responsibilities

• Update stock level of raw materials.
• Prepare paper cores using the paper core machine according to the required size stated in the Work Order.
• Manage the storage, usage, and scrap/leftover of raw materials, packaging materials, and paper cores.
• Update the Mixing Material report.
• Accurately update the material notice board.
• Use equipment, e.g., pallet jack, to lift and move materials, rolls, and finished goods.
• Perform job changes on the machine.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Responsibility

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Update the stock level of raw materials.
• Prepare paper cores using the paper core machine according to the required size stated in the Work Order.
• Manage the storage, usage, and scrap/leftover of raw materials, packaging materials, and paper cores.
• Update the Mixing Material report.
• Accurately update the material notice board.

Production Process & Standards

• Read and understand the requirements of the Work Order in terms of raw materials and packaging materials (type and quantity required).
• Ensure sufficient stock of raw materials and packaging materials is available.
• Ensure the type and quantity of resin mixture are accurate and always maintained at an adequate level during the production process.
• Operate the resin mixer machine.
• Carry out the purging process, starting from compound preparation to the purging process.
• Perform roll changes when a roll is completed.
• Weigh and pack the rolls.
