Job summary

MCLEAN PLASTIC ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Kulai, Johor, seeks a diligent Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate and monitor production machines, follow work instructions, and ensure output meets quality standards.

We value safety and teamwork; you will perform start-up and shutdown procedures, report issues, and maintain machine housekeeping. Shift work and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent
• Willing to work on shift schedules and overtime when required
• Able to follow work instructions and production procedures
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of machine operation and production processes is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines according to work instructions and production requirements.
• Ensure machines are running smoothly and safely during production.
• Perform machine start-up, operation and shutdown procedures.
• Check product quality during the production process.
• Ensure production output meets the required quantity and quality standards.
• Perform basic machine adjustments when required.
• Report machine breakdowns, abnormalities or production issues to the Supervisor or Technician.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and work area.
• Follow company Safety, Quality and Production procedures.
• Record production output, defects and machine-related information accurately.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Production Manager.
