Job summary

Jora Malaysia is inviting engineers and project professionals to join its M&E project teams in Malaysia. You will design mechanical and electrical systems, oversee on-site installations, and ensure compliance with engineering contracts, safety standards, and structural drawings.

You will conduct performance tests, verify functionality and energy efficiency, troubleshoot on-site issues, and manage budgeting and procurement to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• System Design: Develop blueprints and specifications for mechanical (HVAC, piping, lifts) and electrical (lighting, HT/LV distribution, data networks) systems.
• Site Supervision: Oversee on-site M&E installations to ensure they align with engineering contracts, safety standards, and structural drawings.
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct performance tests on installed systems to verify functionality, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance before handover.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues on-site and address unforeseen challenges that could delay project timelines.
• Budgeting & Procurement: Estimate material and labor costs, review supplier bids, and ensure M&E components meet the project's budget.
