Job summary

Sunway Construction Group Berhad in Malaysia is seeking M&E talents ranging from entry level to managerial positions to join fast-track projects based in Klang Valley and Johor.

You will assist in executing mechanical and electrical design, procurement, installation and commissioning, coordinate with stakeholders, and supervise on-site M&E installations to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of M&E installation management experience from design to commissioning is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Fresh graduates with keen interest in construction industry are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist to execute M&E design, procurement, installation, and commissioning for construction projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate M&E systems into building design.
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors to refine designs and resolve issues.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Supervise installation of M&E systems on-site to meet designs and specs.
• Ensure installation work is safe, timely, and meets quality standards.
• Perform inspections and resolve deviations from design specifications.
• Assist with commissioning and testing to meet performance standards.
• Provide documentation and training during project handover.
