Job summary

EI Power Berhad is seeking a motivated Project Engineer (M&E) to join its project team in Malaysia. The candidate will coordinate and supervise Mechanical & Electrical works for data centre and industrial construction projects, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and compliance with drawings, specs and quality requirements.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in M&E engineering or related field, with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in M&E engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant M&E construction experience.
• Experience in data centre/industrial/commercial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day M&E site activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and submissions.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Coordinate mechanical piping, ACMV/HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection works.
• Attend site coordination and progress meetings.
• Prepare RFIs, inspections, and testing/commissioning documentation.
• Ensure quality, safety and technical compliance.
