Job summary

Commtech Asia (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee project delivery and coordinate with the commissioning team on site in Selangor, Malaysia.

The role covers testing, coordination, vendor documentation, and HS&E compliance, with travel to sites both domestically and internationally. Fresh graduates are welcome, with 2–5 years' experience preferred for more senior candidates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or similar qualifications.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical systems or BI coordination is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist Managers in ensuring successful project implementation.
• Undertake testing and commissioning activities from factory tests to integrated systems tests.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate site meetings.
• Attend site meetings and address technical queries from clients.
• Review and track vendor responses and method statements.
• Witness testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance.
• Manage project administration and documentation tasks.
• Support HS&E compliance through PPE use, hazard reporting, and safe work practices.
