Job summary

MVC Resources invites applications for M&E Engineer, Senior Engineer and Manager roles for high-rise and data centre projects in Johor Bahru. You will lead design coordination, site supervision and testing, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have hands-on M&E experience on large-scale buildings or data centres, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, and strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to manage multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering field.
• M&E Engineer: 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Senior Engineer: 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Manager: 10+ years of relevant experience on large-scale projects
• Hands-on M&E experience in high-rise buildings or data centres; experience in both is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit/BIM and MS Project are advantages
• BEM / PE registration or relevant competent person certification is an advantage for Senior and Manager roles
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise M&E works against the project programme
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, clients, subcontractors and other trades
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, BIM/CAD coordination drawings, material submissions and method statements
• Monitor progress, workmanship, manpower and material deliveries
• Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues early
• Propose practical value engineering solutions
• Manage and evaluate M&E subcontractors and vendors
• Plan and witness testing and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality requirements and SHE regulations
• Support handover, defect rectification and close-out documentation
