Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyze shop drawings and technical requirements
• Review material submission from subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications
• Resolve clashes between M&E services, architectural and structural elements
• Inspect M&E installation on-site activity to ensure good workmanship
• Ensure compliance with design and specifications
• Make sure site installation according to latest approved drawings
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants
• Resolve any M&E issue on site
• Coordinate with C&S contractors on concurrent ongoing site activity
• Identify discrepancies between C&S, architectural, and M&E drawings
• Prepare Request for Information (RFI) documents to resolve the issue
• Monitor site progress to ensure project is ahead of schedule
• Prepare all record of site manpower, machinery and activities
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of M&E systems
• Ensuring proper functioning of all M&E components before handover
• Responsible for compiling Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and as-built drawings
• Review and coordinate architectural drawings with consultant and subcontractors
• Resolve any discrepancy between drawings before commencement of construction
• Liase with project owner representative, engineers, and consultants
• Resolve technical issue on site regarding architectural details
• Coordinate with C&S and M&E contractors on concurrent ongoing site activity
• Monitor site progress to ensure project is ahead of schedule
• Prepare all record of site manpower, machinery and activities
• Coordinate the submission of drawings to local authorities for approval
• Maintain record of site activity and progress
• Handle as-build drawing upon completion
