Job summary

Digital-Trans in Malaysia is seeking a Language Quality Assurer to evaluate linguistic quality in video games, including translations, grammar, spelling and contextual accuracy.

You will ensure consistency across dialogues, subtitles, UI and in-game texts, report language bugs, suggest improvements, verify fixes before release, and adhere to established style guides and linguistic standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Malay and understanding of source languages (Malay & Mandarin).
• Strong grammar, spelling and cultural context knowledge.
• Experience in LQA, translation or editing, preferably in games.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate linguistic quality in games (translation, grammar, spelling and context).
• Ensure language consistency across dialogues, subtitles, UI and other texts.
• Report and document language-related bugs or issues.
• Provide suggestions for linguistic improvements.
• Verify fixes before the game release.
• Adhere to established style guides and linguistic standards.
