Job summary

SOLAR ENERGY GAS SUPPLY in Malaysia is seeking a Driver Cum Salesman to safely deliver LPG cylinders to existing customers and shops while actively identifying new business opportunities within the delivery area. You will load and unload cylinders, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain vehicle condition.

The role requires a valid driving license, a sales mindset, and strong communication with shop owners and business operators.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license with good driving record.
• Sales-oriented and willing to approach new shops and customers daily.
• Comfortable communicating with shop owners, restaurants and business operators.
• Responsible, punctual and trustworthy.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and able to handle LPG cylinders safely.
• Familiar with local area and identifying potential business customers.
• Customer-focused with good communication and negotiation skills.
• Safety-conscious and follow LPG handling and driving procedures.
• Previous delivery, sales, LPG, FMCG, logistics or route sales experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the company vehicle to deliver LPG gas cylinders to existing customers and shops.
• Load, unload and handle LPG cylinders safely according to company procedures.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Check delivery quantities and obtain customer confirmations where required.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of the company vehicle.
• Identify and approach new shops, restaurants, food stalls, factories and other LPG customers during daily deliveries.
• Introduce the company's LPG products and services to potential customers.
• Achieve monthly sales and new-customer targets.
• Maintain records of deliveries, sales, collections and new customer leads.
• Submit daily sales/delivery reports as required.
