Job summary

Codester Learning Zone is seeking a Long Term Part-Time Coding Coach for kids to guide young coders through engaging projects. You will collaborate with another instructor to run sessions and support students as they build their programs.

The role suits fresh graduates or those with background in education or IT, and requires a presentable educator, willingness to learn, and reliable attendance on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Well-spoken and presentable as an educator.
• Experience engaging with children in a formal setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of computer technology (basic), maths and science desirable.
• Willing to learn new areas of technology with training provided.
• Willing and available to travel around Klang Valley and surrounding areas.
• Passion for education and working with children.
• Ability to work and learn independently.
• Proactive self-management.
• Punctual, responsible and reliable.
• Driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to speak other local languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Engage with children and guide them through courses.
• Co-teach sessions with another instructor and coach coders on projects.
• Travel around Klang Valley to conduct sessions when required.

Long Term Part-Time Coding Coach for kids

As a Coach, you will engage with children and guide them through our courses. You will work with another instructor to conduct these sessions and coach our coders as they create their projects.

• Well-spoken and presentable as an educator
• Experience in engaging with children in a formal conduct is an advantage.
• Knowledge of computer technology (basic), maths and science is desirable.
• Must be willing to learn new areas of technology (training and guidance will be provided)
• Must be willing and available to travel around Klang Valley and its surrounds
• Passion for education and working with children

• Punctual, responsible and reliable
• Preferably have own mode of transport, a driver’s license
• Ability to speak other local languages is an advantage

Location: Sri Petaling & Jalan Tun Razak
Working hour: 9am-5pm (Every Saturday); & 9am-3.30pm (Every Sunday)

This role will be suitable for fresh graduates and/or applicants who are/have been in the education and/or IT industry.
