Job summary

SINDIYAN PLANTATION SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced lorry driver to oversee loading/offloading, inspect and clean vehicles, and safely transport goods to plantation sites. The role requires GPS navigation proficiency, long-distance driving ability, and adherence to safety regulations.

The candidate should have a valid Malaysia driving license (class D and E), a GDL license, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Outstation travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Malaysia driving license for class D and E.
• Possess valid Goods Driving License (GDL) for class D and E.
• 3+ years' experience as a lorry driver.
• Experience with GPS navigation and mapping.
• Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus.
• Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
• Able to travel for outstation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the loading and offloading of goods
• Inspecting and cleaning the vehicle
• Safely transporting goods to and from distribution centers/plantation site
• Obeying the rules of the road and following company safety regulations
• Finding the quickest and safest route to your destination
• Completing travel logs
• Reporting any accidents or delays and following accident procedures
• Conducting minor roadside repairs on the truck
• Maintaining a good relationship with customers and vendors
