Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics, warehouse, and transportation processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

You will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage transportation, mentor staff, analyze KPIs, and ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating with sales, procurement, and finance to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize logistics, warehouse, and transportation.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations with accuracy in inventory and orders.
• Coordinate transportation logistics and carrier relationships for timely delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and issues promptly.
• Lead and mentor a team of operational staff for productivity and development.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify improvements and actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and policies.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement and finance to align operations with goals.
• Manage operating budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Proficient use of logistics management software and related tech.
