Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking an experienced logistics and warehouse professional in Malaysia to oversee daily operations from inbound to outbound, and to coordinate import/export activities with freight forwarders and customs agents.

You will manage end-to-end logistics flow, ensure inventory accuracy with WMS/ERP systems, and drive improvements in layout and processes while aligning with company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Open to candidates from manufacturing background.
• Preferably experienced in handling import and export operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations end-to-end.
• Familiar with customs procedures, freight forwarding processes, and shipping documentation.
• Experience using WMS and/or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Competent and experienced professional in both logistics and warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership potential suitable for Assistant Manager level.
• Good communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support daily warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, and outbound distribution
• Ensure smooth execution of import and export activities, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers
• Manage end-to-end logistics flow from suppliers (local and overseas) to warehouse, and from warehouse to customers or intercompany locations
• Ensure warehouse operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company operational standards
• Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper control of stock movement through WMS/ERP systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse layout, processes, and logistics efficiency
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export procedures, and company policies
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including procurement, production, sales, and customer service teams
• Lead, supervise, and support warehouse team operations, ensuring productivity and discipline
• Assist in manpower planning, training, and performance management of warehouse staff
• Support month-end stock count activities, including occasional weekend work when required
