Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software Architect for logistics solutions to design robust, scalable architectures and guide a cross-functional team across development, product, and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes modernization of existing systems, cloud-based deployment, and the adoption of microservices with REST APIs, Docker and Kubernetes, while fostering strong analytical and communication skills in an international context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as Software Architect or Lead Developer in logistics or related domains.
• Proficient in C# with knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication; German is a plus but not required.
• Experience in international and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable software architectures for logistics applications.
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Define and promote architectural standards and best practices across development teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance our logistics software portfolio.
