Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Architect to articulate an architectural vision, set strategy, and lead the design of scalable systems. You will develop and govern the software development framework, policies, guidelines, and best practices, producing clear diagrams and technical specifications for delivery teams.

The role requires strong English communication, 3+ years in architecture design, and collaboration with business stakeholders to translate needs into robust designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software/solution architecture design experience.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Articulate architectural vision, strategy and direction, conceptualizing and experimenting with new/alternative architectural approaches, design models, software frameworks & utilities tools.
• Develop, implement and manage departmental software development framework, policies, guidelines and best practices; document and draw system diagrams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into clear technical specifications and solution designs.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery and alignment with architectural standards.
