Job summary

Ansell is seeking a Logistics Project Manager APAC to lead end-to-end logistics transformation initiatives from Cyberjaya. You will coordinate warehousing, distribution, transportation, inventory, and import/export operations across the APAC region, partnering with IT, Finance, Planning, QA, and commercial teams.

The role requires strong matrix leadership, change management capabilities, and the ability to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, while driving efficiency, cost

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles with strong project exposure.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional logistics projects in a regional or global environment.
  • Experience with distribution centers, transportation networks, and 3PL providers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end logistics projects from concept through implementation and stabilization.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively manage dependencies and risks.
  • Ensure structured handover to operations after project completion.

Ansell is looking for a Logistics Project Manager APAC to join our team in Cyberjaya!

In this position, you will be responsible to for leading and delivering strategic and operational logistics projects across the APAC region. The role focuses on design, coordination, and execution of logistics transformation initiatives covering warehousing, distribution, transportation, inventory management, and import/export operations.

Acting as a key interface between Logistics operations, GTC, Finance, IT, Planning, Quality, Commercial teams, and external partners (3PLs, carriers, system providers), the Logistics Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while supporting business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

This role does not carry full line management accountability but requires strong matrix leadership, stakeholder influence, and change management capabilities.

What your role will be?
  • Lead end‑to‑end logistics projects from concept through implementation and stabilization.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively manage dependencies and risks.
  • Ensure structured handover to operations after project completion.
Logistics Transformation & Operational Excellence
  • Deliver projects related to:
    • Warehouse setup, relocation, expansion, or exit
    • Network optimization and distribution model changes
    • Transportation and freight optimization initiatives
    • Inventory management and service level improvements
    • Process standardization and continuous improvement (LEAN)
  • Support cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service and compliance.
  • Use data, KPIs, and analytics to measure project outcomes and benefits realization.
Systems, Digitalization & Process Improvement
  • Lead or support implementation of logistics systems and tools (WMS, TMS, ERP, reporting solutions).
  • Work closely with IT and business teams to translate operational requirements into system solutions.
  • Drive process harmonization and documentation across sites and regions.
Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Act as the central coordination point between Logistics, Finance, IT, Planning, QA, and Commercial teams.
  • Manage external partners involved in project delivery (3PLs, consultants, system integrators).
  • Prepare clear project communication for steering committees and senior leadership.
  • Support change management activities, including training, communication, and adoption.
Compliance, Quality & Safety
  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements, GDP standards, and company policies.
  • Embed safety, quality, and risk management principles into project design and execution.
What will you bring to Ansell?
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations roles with strong project exposure.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, cross‑functional logistics projects in a regional or global environment.
  • Experience working with distribution centers, transportation networks, and 3PL providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and distribution operations (warehousing, transport, inventory).
  • Experience with ERP and logistics systems (SAP, WMS, TMS, Dynamics 365 or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills in a matrix organization.
  • Comfortable working in a KPI‑driven and fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in warehouse automation or advanced DC environments.
  • Exposure to network design and logistics optimization studies.
  • Knowledge of LEAN / Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Financial acumen and ability to support business case development.
  • High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
  • Travel up to 10%
