Job summary

Phili-Orient Logistics (PG) Sdn Bhd (Phili-Orient Group) in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Junior Executive to support daily logistics and freight forwarding operations. You will coordinate shipments, assist with documentation, and work closely with internal teams, vendors, and overseas agents to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Logistics or related field, has at least 1 year of logistics experience, and demonstrates strong English and Bahasa Malaysia

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
• End-to-end logistics experience is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor deliveries and vendor performance to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Support daily and weekly demand and supply planning activities.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and other internal teams.
• Liaise with customers, overseas agents, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth shipment coordination.
• Ensure compliance with safety, Hazmat, and transportation (DOT) requirements.
• Handle customs clearance and prepare the required documentation.
• Manage returns, shipment refusal cases, and operational issues with timely follow-up.
• Provide backup support to the Customer Service team when required.
• Maintain accurate operational records, logs, forms, billing, and invoicing.
• Review weekly performance reports and support quarterly performance targets.
• Support continuous improvement in customer service, logistics, and distribution processes.
