Job summary

Talent Recruit in Penang is seeking a Logistics Executive (Day shift) to support end-to-end logistics operations. You will oversee order management, customer service, and coordination with carriers to ensure on-time delivery for worldwide shipments.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience in logistics or shipping, and the ability to read and write Chinese for supplier communications. A diploma or higher is preferred, with 5.5 days work weeks and two shifts to cover day operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in order management or logistics operations.
• Fluent Chinese reading/writing for supplier communication.
• Diploma or higher in any field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check manpower availability upon client inquiries to assess order fulfillment feasibility.
• Coordinate with Sales to resolve issues when orders cannot be fulfilled on time.
• Plan, schedule, and track shipments and flights for clients.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and transport of goods per standards.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and carriers for timely delivery.
• Establish a quality or control plan to meet client expectations.
• Develop daily delivery plans and issue tasks to Operators.
• Address client complaints promptly and seek resolutions.
• Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with other departments to mitigate disruptions to scheduled operations.
• Assist admin with OBC-related inquiries.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports.
• Keep all shipment and logistics documents accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide regular updates to management on performance and improvements.
• Record training per procedures and keep records current.
