Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding seeks a logistics-focused intern to support daily shipment monitoring and reporting activities from Penang. You will use the PostFlights tool to track shipments and publish discrepancies to the CSS team as needed.

The role involves preparing monthly and weekly operational reports, coordinating with carriers on issues, and assisting in the assembly of summary slides for PD sessions. Opportunity to work independently within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Knowledge of logistics, transport, shipping operations, or freight forwarding is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily shipments using PostFlights tool.
• Coordinate with carriers and CSS team on discrepancies and reports.
• Prepare monthly FABCLOSED report and weekly updates on OI/CCM and truck checklist.
• Share carrier performance summaries for monthly Carrier Performance Report.
• Prepare and share summary slides for PD sessions.
• Communicate automation reports with AP POSTFLIGHT.
