Job summary

Flex is seeking an Assistant Manager, Logistics in Prai, Penang to lead daily distribution activities, oversee shipping and receiving, and manage inventory control. The role focuses on meeting production schedules, improving warehouse productivity, and ensuring safety compliance across operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and 3–5 years of distribution/warehousing experience, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and optimize logistics

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Typically requires 3-5 years of distribution, warehousing or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of the distribution function including shipping, receiving, inventory control.
• Generates warehouse productivity reports and monitors labor hours.
• Ensures adherence to budget and helps meet production and planning schedules.
• Maintains safe and efficient warehouse operations and equipment maintenance.
• Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and resolves issues.
