Job summary

PKJUITA SDN. BHD. in Kulai, Johor, is seeking a dedicated Logistic Assistant to join our construction management team. This full-time role ensures the smooth flow of materials, equipment and resources across multiple projects, supporting on-site teams and schedules.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in logistics or warehouse environments, strong organisational skills, and proficiency with MS Office; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further logistics qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience in logistics or warehouse environments, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and MS Office.
• Good written and verbal English; Malay language skills desirable.
• Ability to lift and carry materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment to various project sites
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock checks to ensure adequate supplies are available
• Preparing and processing shipping and delivery documentation, including purchase orders and delivery schedules
• Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to arrange timely delivery of materials and resolve logistics issues
• Monitoring equipment maintenance schedules and ensuring all tools are in optimal working condition
• Supporting warehouse organisation and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Assisting with cost tracking and ensuring logistics operations remain within budget parameters
• Preparing reports on inventory levels, material usage, and logistics activities
• Providing administrative support to the logistics and project management teams as required

As a Logistic Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and resources across our construction projects. This role is essential to maintaining project timelines and operational efficiency, serving as a vital link between our supply chain and on-site teams.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; further qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or construction are advantageous
• Proven experience working in a logistics or warehouse environment, preferably within the construction or manufacturing sector
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in using computer systems and logistics management software; Microsoft Office skills are essential
• Excellent communication abilities with both written and verbal English; Malay language proficiency is desirable
• Physical capability to handle materials and equipment safely, including lifting and carrying items
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and follow instructions reliably
• Basic knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and processes is beneficial
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it would be advantageous
