Job summary

Aurelius Healthcare in Malaysia is seeking a locum speech therapist to provide temporary assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders.

You will conduct sessions, develop care plans, participate in MDT discussions, manage documentation and assist in discharge planning, with payment on a per-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Treatment: Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Case Management: Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans and manage patient care documentation.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in team discussions regarding patient progress and rehabilitation goals.
• Discharge Planning: Assist in creating care plans upon discharge from services.
• Mentorship: Assist in training or supervision of therapy assistants, if required.
