Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to ensure accurate review and verification of legal documentation for loan facilities from offer to disbursement. You will coordinate with solicitors, valuers, and internal teams to secure timely completion and compliance with policy.

The role requires 1 year in credit or loan documentation, and a degree in banking, finance, law, or related fields. Strong communication and a quality-driven mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year credit related experience, especially in loan documentation.
• Knowledge/experience in processing of documentation and releasing of Emb / Commercial / Corporate loans preferred.
• Degree in banking, management, accounting, law and/or related discipline.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Performance and quality driven.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify legal documentation to ensure compliance with terms and conditions and timely completion of loan documentation through to facility disbursement.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate preparation and completion of security documentation.
• Ensure facility disbursements follow Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and turnaround times with conditions precedent fulfilled.
• Perform administrative duties, safekeeping and maintenance of security documents, and support related ad hoc tasks.
