Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment.
• Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
• Ability to read packing lists, invoices, and other shipping documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading/unloading equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles per delivery schedules and safety protocols.
• Verify quantities against documents like packing lists and invoices.
• Inspect materials for damage during loading/unloading and report issues.
• Ensure proper stacking, securing, and storage to optimize space.
• Keep loading dock area clean and organized, following housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on loading equipment; report malfunctions.
• Follow safety policies, wear PPE, and coordinate with drivers for timely operations.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
