Job summary

GETO GLOBAL CONSTRUCTION TECH MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is hiring a forklift operator to handle loading and unloading of aluminium formwork and related materials in our Nilai facility.

You will perform safety checks, operate the forklift with a valid license, and maintain accurate warehouse records. You will also support daily 5S housekeeping, coordinate with warehouse staff and drivers, and assist maintenance personnel to keep equipment in safe, proper working order.

Qualifications

• Operate forklift safely in a factory environment.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and daily maintenance checks.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow 5S guidelines.
• Assist with warehouse documentation and record-keeping.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and drivers to meet delivery needs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading and unloading aluminium formwork, accessories, profiles, and other materials.
• Strictly comply with forklift safety operating procedures and operate forklift with a valid license.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklift including brakes, lights, horn, hydraulic system, tyres, fuel/battery level and safety components.
• Control forklift speed within factory premises (5-10 km/h) and sound horn when turning or near pedestrians.
• Maintain daily forklift inspections and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• On-site 5S management: keep areas clear and return tools to proper locations.
• Documentation: complete Forklift Operation Record and related forms; verify goods against records.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse staff and lorry drivers to ensure timely delivery.
