Job summary
The OCBC Bank Infrastructure as a Service team in Cyberjaya is hiring a senior Linux platform engineer. You will design and deliver a reliable, scalable, secure Red Hat Linux platform while collaborating with multiple technology teams.
You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and drive improvements using SRE practices. You will implement observability, automation, and deployment strategies, ensure high availability, and contribute to security hardening and disaster recovery activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS or business management.
- 6+ years with Red Hat Linux platform and related infra.
- Experience installing, patching, and maintaining UNIX servers.
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience with automation, CI/CD and IaC tooling.
Responsibilities
- Partner with tech teams to design and deliver reliable Linux platform.
- Stay updated on trends and suggest innovative tooling.
- Share expertise across Engineering/Operations.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and drive SRE improvements.
- Work on toil reduction, observability, and deployment designs.
