Job summary

WTW is seeking a Life Insurance Consultant to support business development and work on complex projects including financial modelling and M&A for life insurance firms. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering client-ready solutions and mentoring junior staff.

Strong actuarial modelling skills and IFRS17 knowledge are essential. Candidates should have 5-8 years in life insurance, near-qualified actuary status, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of life insurance experience in a consulting firm, financial services organization or life insurance firm.
• Qualified/near qualified actuary or making strong progression.
• Familiar with Singapore RBC2.
• Good IFRS17 or Financial Reporting knowledge.
• Strong modelling using RAFM or Prophet actuarial modelling software.
• A track record of performing life insurance work.
• Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills.
• Well-developed verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity.
• Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Strong analytical and creative skills.
• Enjoy training/mentoring junior staff.
• The ability to see the "big picture," leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business challenges.
• Availability to travel on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Support business development and draft proposals and responses to RFPs.
• Deliver high-quality project management for life insurance assignments.
• Serve as primary daily contact to clients on delivery of services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze issues and develop value-added solutions.
• Mentor project team associates and develop junior staff.
• Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on client assignments.
