Job summary

Klook in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join a fast-growing regional legal team. You will advise on legal matters across functions, support contracts, and help manage cross-border projects from our KL office.

The role requires 3–6 years in reputable law firms or MNCs, with experience in tech/e-commerce and privacy a plus. Fluency in English is essential for collaboration with global stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Excellent opportunity to be part of a fast‑growing and dynamic legal team with global coverage;
• Fast‑paced environment requiring different legal skills (and therefore opportunity to develop in such areas);
• Key member of contract management team in KL;
• Provide strategic legal and business advice to the company in all functional areas.

What You’ll Need

• 3‑6 years of experience in reputable law firms and/or MNCs; experience working with startup companies or in an entrepreneurial environment a plus
• Experience in tech, e‑commerce and/or privacy matters an advantage;
• Flexible and hard‑working, with a can‑do attitude, practical and solution driven;
• Analytical and commercially minded, fast learner and tech savvy;
• Good communication skills and ability to manage business partners and stakeholders;
• Ability to manage projects independently and work under pressure;
• Fluent in English. Chinese and/or other language skills a plus.
