Qualifications

• Must be able to teach, supervise Final Year Projects (FYP), and provide professional training.
• Demonstrated research knowledge in Welding and Joining Technologies or related fields.
• Engage in industry collaboration and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to curriculum development and review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Mechanical Engineering subjects.
• Supervise students, including FYP, industrial training, and postgraduate research activities.
• Design, develop, and regularly review course materials to ensure relevance and quality.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• Develop and secure external research grants and funding.
• Establish and maintain strong collaborations with industry partners for joint research, consultancy, and innovation activities.
• Facilitate industry partnerships and student internship or industrial training placements.
• Contribute to curriculum development, review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support departmental and university-level administrative and academic activities.
