Jora Malaysia invites applications for a Lecturer (Masters / Bachelor in Education - TESL). The incumbent will deliver lectures and lead teaching activities while contributing to curriculum development and student support.
Qualified candidates hold a PhD or Master’s degree in TESL or related fields; PhD/EdD is preferred for senior roles. Teaching workload is 12–18 contact hours per week with involvement in research and quality assurance.

PHD, Master's Degree or higher in TESL, TESOL, Education, Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching, Language Education or a related field.
Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and minimum five (5) years of relevant teaching/working experience may be considered subject to applicable MQA and LUC requirements.
PhD/EdD holders are preferred for Senior Lecturer and research-focused positions.
Relevant higher education teaching experience is preferred.
Experience in OBE, MQA, curriculum development and assessment is an advantage.

Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and other assigned academic activities.
Prepare and update teaching materials, course outlines and lesson plans.
Conduct assessments, examinations, marking and moderation.
Provide academic advising, mentoring and student support.
Implement OBE principles and contribute to CLO/PLO achievement.
Prepare and maintain course files and academic documentation.
Participate in MQA, CQI, curriculum review and quality assurance activities.
Conduct and participate in research and scholarly activities.
Contribute to publications, conferences and research projects.
Participate in Faculty, University and student development activities.
Undertake other academic duties assigned by the Dean/HOD/Programme Coordinator.
Indicative teaching workload: 12–18 contact hours per week.
Workload may be adjusted based on research, administrative, programme coordination and other academic responsibilities.
Participate in research activities.
Develop research proposals and collaborations.
Target at least one scholarly/research output annually, subject to academic rank and University requirements.
PhD/Senior Academic staff are expected to demonstrate stronger research, publication and grant activities.
