Job summary

TE Connectivity Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking a continuous improvement professional to promote and implement TEOA tools across the Penang site. You will lead Lean initiatives, drive Kaizen events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce waste and improve value streams.

The role requires a degree in science or engineering and 3+ years of CI experience, with strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in science or engineering is required.
3+ years experience in Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing or CI.
Experience leading on-site or value stream level CI activities.
Familiar with value stream mapping and TEOA tools.
Excellent communication and coaching skills.
Analytical, data-driven with a change catalyst mindset.

Responsibilities

Analyze and monitor performance of the most impactful value stream to identify improvement opportunities.
Lead Kaizen workshops and continuous improvement activities at the site level.
Develop value stream maps and implement the TEOA plan for specified value streams.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to define problems, analyze root causes and implement solutions.
Promote Lean concepts, optimize workplace flow and layout, and manage material flow.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and promote digital tools to create value.
