Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a diligent operator for our Ipoh facility to perform daily manufacturing processes strictly per documented procedures, with the required certification, and to maintain quality and process integrity.

You will report to the Line Leader, highlight quality issues, follow ESD and Cleanroom procedures, uphold 5S, and contribute to Lean initiatives and continual improvement while complying with ISO requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum: SPM
• Experience with glue processes or related manufacturing preferred
• Familiar with coupling, welding or soldering equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate processes per documented procedures and be certified as required
• Perform daily processes per documentation
• Highlight quality issues to Line Leader or Supervisor
• Follow ESD and Cleanroom procedures
• Maintain 5S and achieve daily targets
• Practice Lean Manufacturing and contribute to continuous improvement
• Derive continual improvement and apply risk-based thinking
• Comply with ISO requirements and company rules
