Job summary

Lam Research International Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production/Manufacturing Manager to lead cross-functional teams and drive lean, data-driven improvements across the manufacturing floor.

You will develop strategies to boost efficiency, monitor schedules, mitigate bottlenecks, and ensure on-time completion of targets while collaborating with supply chain and quality teams. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong analytics, and excellent communication;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or production management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
• Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to meet production targets.
• MCSD/MCD risk assessment and prioritization of PM Completion Ship risk assessments to MCSD of tools in WIP.
• Provide missed notification along with root cause and projected recommit dates of completion.
• PM tracking on parts shortages, parts borrowed, SW and Golden Unit.
• Facilitate communication between different teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and drive lean manufacturing practices.
