Job summary

Musim Mastika Oils & Fats (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee site utilities, including boilers, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, softeners, and pumps. You will lead boilermen and maintenance staff, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate with Production to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and at least five years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing utilities, plus a DOSH

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in manufacturing utilities.
• Possess a valid Grade 2 Steam Engineer Competency Certificate issued by DOSH (JKKP).
• Strong hands-on experience in steam boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, water treatment, and other utilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage maintenance teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, reliable operation of site utility systems: boilers, chillers, compressors, cooling towers, softeners, pumps.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs including annual shutdowns for boilers and vessels.
• Monitor boiler operations daily to optimize performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Production and Purchasing to forecast, source, and procure spare parts and materials.
• Manage procurement of goods and inventories to ensure availability of critical items.
• Perform and supervise servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs; liaise with external contractors when needed.
• Lead boilermen and maintenance staff, schedule shifts, and manage overtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with certifications.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly utility performance reports.
• Drive safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives for utilities.
