Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a QA professional to strengthen Retail Operational Readiness with effective testing of banking applications, reviewing user requirements, and ensuring smooth implementation with test planning, execution and documentation.

You will coordinate UAT, support production issues, and contribute to automation scripting. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in functional testing in retail banking are preferred, with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in functional testing in retail banking.
• Knowledge of retail banking operations, products and services.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Practical knowledge of automation testing tools is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and execute user acceptance testing for retail banking applications.
• Understand user requirements, review functional specifications and plan testing to ensure adequate coverage.
• Manage end-to-end testing, ensuring quality test verification, defect reporting and timely progress tracking.
• Support business/operation users in operational readiness, pilot runs, health checks and post-implementation projects.
• Analyze and provide input on production issues and customer complaints via support staff.
• Assist in developing and executing test automation scripts.
• Participate in country and group level projects as assigned.
• Identify and initiate improvements in testing processes and execution.
• Ensure application parameters are set with proper controls.
