Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Lead RPA Developer (UiPath) for a large life sciences client in Malaysia. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade UiPath automations, translate business requirements into scalable workflows, and optimize bots for reliability and performance.

You will monitor production, perform root-cause analysis, manage Orchestrator, and mentor junior developers while aligning with governance and standards.

Qualifications

• Over 6 years of hands-on UiPath RPA delivery in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of UiPath Studio, REFramework, and Orchestrator.
• Experience supporting production automations, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reusable automation workflows.
• Exposure to attended and unattended automations.
• Solid understanding of exception handling, logging, and RPA best practices.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and taking ownership.
• Clear communication and proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UiPath automations in production.
• Translate business requirements into scalable RPA workflows.
• Refactor bots for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Configure and manage UiPath Orchestrator components.
• Support and enhance vendor automations with knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with infra, database, and app teams on integrations.
• Support UAT, releases, and post-deployment activities.
• Ensure automations comply with governance, security, and standards.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to documentation.
