Job summary

CHING HAI SWITCHBOARD MANUFACTURER SDN. BHD. is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor in our switchboard manufacturing factory in Malaysia.

You will supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring progress aligns with schedules and targets. You will assign tasks, monitor quality of materials and finished products, ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and SOPs, and uphold workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, electrical, or switchboard-related industries.
• Minimum SKM Level 3 or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Fabrication or related field
• Knowledge of switchboard fabrication, electrical panel assembly, or sheet metal work is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Good leadership, supervision, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage production workers and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety and production procedures.
• Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the switchboard manufacturing factory.
• Monitor production progress and ensure work is completed according to schedules and targets.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to production workers based on workload and requirements.
• Ensure switchboard fabrication and assembly follow drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Monitor the quality of materials, fabrication, assembly, and finished products.
• Ensure workers follow safety rules, SOPs and machine operating procedures.
• Monitor use of materials, tools and equipment to minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Purchasing, Store and Project departments regarding production needs and issues.
• Identify and resolve production problems, delays, defects and workflow issues.
