Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Principal Engineer, Solutions Architecture – Liquid Cooling to lead the design and delivery of data-center liquid cooling solutions in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. You will serve as the principal expert for RDHx and CDU technologies, shaping our consulting and post-sales support for high-density compute environments.

You will engage with customers, translate requirements into scalable architectures, and collaborate with field teams to ensure deployments meet design

Qualifications

7+ years in data center infrastructure, solutions architecture, mechanical/thermal engineering, or HPC environments.
Hands-on experience with rear-door heat exchangers, CDUs, and coolant loop design.
Strong understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to gather thermal, environmental, mechanical, and operational requirements.
Design end-to-end liquid cooling solutions featuring RDHx, CDUs, manifolds, hoses, and facility water loop considerations.
Produce detailed solution designs including schematics, BOMs, system flow diagrams, thermal performance expectations, and installation guidelines.
Translate customer requirements into scalable, supportable, and reliable architectures.
