Epergne Solutions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Qlik Replicate (Attunity) to design and run real-time and batch data replication pipelines across Oracle, DB2, and Cloudera environments.

You will own data integration, CI/CD for data pipelines, and mentor a growing team while delivering robust, scalable solutions and thorough technical documentation for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in data/software engineering.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Replicate (Attunity) or similar data replication tools.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Replicate pipelines for real-time and batch data replication across systems (Oracle, DB2, Cloudera, etc.).
• Administer Qlik Replicate environments, including monitoring, upgrades, patching, and license management.
• Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and error handling.
• Troubleshoot replication issues, bottlenecks, and connectivity challenges.
• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL programs.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver end-to-end data integration solutions.
• Support data migration, modernization, and cloud initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational guides.
• Ensure testing, validation, and deployment of data pipelines.
• Drive automation of Qlik processes prior to transition to BAU.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve issues.
• Automate processes and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

Data Ingestion & Replication

• Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Replicate pipelines for real‑time and batch data replication across systems (Oracle, DB2, Cloudera, etc.).
• Administer Qlik Replicate environments, including monitoring, upgrades, patching, and license management.
• Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and error handling.
• Troubleshoot replication issues, bottlenecks, and connectivity challenges.
• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL programs.

Data Integration & Project Delivery

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver end‑to‑end data integration solutions.
• Support data migration, modernization, and cloud initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational guides.
• Ensure testing, validation, and deployment of data pipelines.
• Drive automation of Qlik processes prior to transition to BAU.
• Contribute to CI/CD practices.

Operations & Support

• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data/software engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Qlik Replicate (Attunity) or similar data replication tools.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience with data replication concepts (CDC, full load).
• Exposure to Hadoop (Cloudera) is an advantage.
• Experience with Talend or similar ETL tools is a plus.
