Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a senior Data Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, develop, and maintain Qlik Replicate pipelines for near-real-time and batch data replication across heterogeneous systems. You will administer Qlik Replicate servers, implement best practices, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with business and technical teams on end-to-end data migration and modernization initiatives.

This role requires 10+ years in software engineering with strong data/AI focus and hands-on Qlik

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with focus on data/AI domain
• Hands-on experience with Qlik Replicate as Developer and Administrator
• Strong SQL/PLSQL and data warehousing knowledge
• Experience with Qlik tools and ETL platforms is a plus
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows scripting and basic Hadoop knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Replicate data pipelines for near-real-time and batch data replication
• Administer Qlik Replicate servers, monitor performance, licensing, upgrades and patches
• Implement best practices for replication configuration, error handling, and resource optimization
• Troubleshoot replication issues, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity errors
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on end-to-end data migration/replication solutions
• Participate in data modernization, cloud migration and analytics platform initiatives
• Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational guides
• Support testing, validation and deployment of data pipelines into production
• Plan and implement automation for Qlik tasks and related programs
• Monitor tasks, alerts and logs; perform root cause analysis for incidents
• Coordinate with DBAs, infrastructure and application teams to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with data governance, audit and security standards
• Train or guide junior developers or support staff when required
• Stay aware of industry trends and risk management practices
