Job summary

Singtel KL Sudong MY Sdn Bhd is launching a new Shared Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The Lead Software Engineer will design and deliver scalable solutions across Singtel's NewCore platform, combining technical leadership with hands-on development in CRM, CPQ, Order Management and Billing integration.

The role emphasizes microservices, APIs, and distributed systems, with a strong focus on performance, security, and architecture alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
6–10 years enterprise system development experience, preferably in BSS/OSS.
Proficiency in Java, Go, Python or TypeScript.
Experience with microservices, REST APIs and distributed systems.
Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Linux and Git.
Hands-on with zSmart BSS or zSmart CPQ preferred.
Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka).
Strong communication and leadership in fast-paced sets.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end technical solutions across front-end and back-end systems.
Lead solution design across BSS domains including CRM, CPQ, Order Management and Billing.
Own development of scalable microservices architectures and reusable components.
Develop and maintain APIs, services and integration layers across distributed systems.
Drive product modelling, pricing configuration and order orchestration flows.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards for performance, scalability and security.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship and hands-on development.
