Job summary

Best Change Renovation Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to lead on-site construction activities, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. You will liaise between management, subcontractors and the construction team, guiding daily operations and performance.

The role requires at least 3 years in site supervision, strong knowledge of local building codes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in construction site supervision or a similar supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes and safety regulations in Malaysia
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and quality standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate teams and manage stakeholder relationships
• Solid understanding of project management, scheduling and budget control
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
• Experience with construction management software or digital tools is desirable
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
• Commitment to workplace health and safety with relevant regulations
• Problem-solving mindset with sound decision-making under pressure

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities per project schedules and specs
• Monitor quality standards and conduct inspections for codes and client requirements
• Lead site safety protocols with daily briefings and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and external parties for smooth workflow
• Document daily site activities, progress reports and resource usage
• Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise delays and costs
• Train and mentor workers to uphold performance standards
• Maintain tidy, safe site with proper housekeeping and waste management
• Report progress, budgets, challenges and scope changes to management
