Job summary

Ertha Energy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a senior CAD professional to oversee drawing consistency with client standards and internal procedures. You will mentor the team, monitor deliverables, and ensure CAD standards are followed while archiving completed projects.

Requires 9 to 15+ years of CAD experience (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and expertise with MicroStation, with the ability to guide workload and ensure timely submissions.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Check subordinates drawing/sketches for consistency to in house CAD procedures and in accordance with client standard and plan
• Monitor the deliverable to meet the schedule
• Advise lead engineer of work load and status update.
• Ensure CAD standards and procedures are adhered to, archive completed projects.
• Ensure latest CAD software updates (AutoCAD/Solidworks) are incorporated into released drawings/sketches.
• Have experience using Microstation software for drawing preparation.

• Functional Reporting to: Managing Director – KL

SPECIAL ASPECTS OF THE JOB

9 to 15+ years previous CAD (AutoCAD/Solidworks) experience, capable of mentoring the team, organised, team builder. Experience in Mircrostation is required

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Compliance with the Company Management Systems
• Perform all CAD works according to the project requirements and specifications.
• Support engineering staff in a technical capacity.
• Designs/drawings are timely and accurately submitted.
• Communication & Teamwork.
• Sign drawings involving direct input as the developer of the documents, in accordance with company procedures and processes.
