Strengthen the project team in the areas of Instrumentation & Control engineering, procurement management, vendor coordination, construction support, and commissioning to ensure successful execution of EPC projects from detailed engineering through startup.
- Lead all Instrument & Control engineering activities.
- Manage procurement and vendor technical activities.
- Support construction execution and site issue resolution.
- Ensure timely delivery of instrument packages and systems.
- Support commissioning and startup activities.
- Provide technical leadership to the project team.
- Interface with Client, Integrated Project Team , Vendors, and Subcontractors.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
- Registered Professional Engineer will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Terminal, Refinery or Process Industry.
- Minimum 5 years in EPC/EPCC project execution roles.
- Experience covering the full project lifecycle:
- Detailed Engineering
- Procurement
- Construction
- Experience working on tank terminals, tank farms, pipelines, loading facilities, utilities and associated control systems preferred.
- Instrument datasheets and specifications.
- Instrument index development.
- P&ID review and development.
- SIL verification and functional safety reviews.
- Hazardous area classification requirements.
- Instrument hook-ups and installation details.
- Cable schedules and JB design.
- Loop drawings and loop checking.
Control Systems
- PMCS Systems.
- ESD Systems.
- Tank Gauging Systems.
- CCTV and Integrated Security Systems.
- Communication Systems.
Procurement Expertise
The candidate must have strong procurement capability, including:
- Preparation of Instrument Material Requisitions (MR).
- Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE).
- Technical clarification meetings.
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Expediting long-lead items.
- Management of supplier technical queries.
- Inspection and testing requirements.

Construction & Site Execution Experience
Candidate must be capable of supporting site activities including:
- Cable pulling and termination activities.
- Marshalling cabinet inspections.
- MCC and control panel interfaces.

- Mechanical Completion support.
Must have hands-on experience in:
- Functional testing.
- ESD testing.
- F&G testing.
- Cause & Effect validation.
- SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
- Pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Start-up support and troubleshooting.
