Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our Kuala Lumpur team on a permanent basis. You will work in a global S/4HANA environment, delivering full‑stack SAP solutions using RAP, CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Fiori.

We require 5+ years of SAP ABAP development with RAP expertise, CDS Views, OData, and SAP Fiori. Malaysian work authorization is required; hybrid office/remote work model applies. MDG/UI5 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience with RAP expertise.
• Strong knowledge of CDS Views, OData Services, ABAP Cloud and SAP Fiori.
• Ability to deliver full‑stack SAP S/4HANA solutions across backend and Fiori.
• Experience with MDG and UI5 is a plus.
• Authorisation to work in Malaysia (Malaysian citizen, PR or RPT welcome).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support enhancements across SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Deliver full‑stack solutions using RAP, CDS Views, OData, and Fiori.
• Develop scalable components aligned with SAP Clean Core.
• Extend standard SAP with released APIs and extension frameworks.
• Contribute to design, reviews, testing, deployment and improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with business and IT to translate requirements into solutions.

They are now looking for a talented SAP ABAP Developer to strengthen their S/4HANA development capability.

The Role

Hands-on SAP development within a global S/4HANA environment:

• Design, build, and support application enhancements across the SAP S/4HANA landscape
• Deliver full-stack solutions using RAP, CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Fiori
• Develop scalable, reusable components in line with SAP Clean Core principles and best practices
• Extend standard SAP functionality through released APIs and SAP extension frameworks
• Contribute to solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement
• Troubleshoot application issues and maintain system stability and performance
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions

What We're Looking For

A sharp SAP ABAP developer ready to build at the cutting edge:

• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, with strong hands-on RAP expertise (essential)
• Solid working knowledge of CDS Views, OData Services, ABAP Cloud, and SAP Fiori (all required)
• Proven ability to deliver full-stack SAP S/4HANA solutions across both backend and Fiori layers
• Experience with SAP MDG and SAP UI5 is a +++
• Must hold valid authorisation to work in Malaysia - Malaysian citizens, permanent residents, and Residence Pass-Talent (RPT) holders are welcome to apply
