Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. seeks a QA/QC Lead to oversee QA/QC across engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication and commissioning phases in Oil & Gas projects.

You will ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and regulatory requirements while driving a strong quality culture with contractors and project teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 8–12 years QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Experience managing QA/QC teams and interfacing with clients, contractors and regulators.
• Certifications preferred: CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS-CWI, API 570/510/653, NACE/AMPP, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
• Strong documentation, audit and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.
• Oversee quality control activities for welding, NDT, coating, materials, fabrication, and installation works.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS, ISO 9001, DOSH and relevant specifications.
• Manage vendor qualification, FAT, SAT, and material certification.
• Conduct audits on contractors, suppliers, and fabrication yards; drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Review engineering deliverables for quality compliance and constructability.
• Lead site QA/QC teams and coordinate with Construction, Engineering, HSE, and Project Management.
• Maintain NCR, CAR, and quality performance reporting; ensure timely closure of quality issues.

• Conduct audits on contractors, suppliers, and fabrication yards; drive corrective and preventive actions.
