SHANGHAI ELECTRIC POWER T&D (M) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a dedicated QA/QC Engineer (Civil/Electrical) to lead quality standards across two Sarawak projects: a Floating Solar installation in Bakun and a 275kV/33kV substation programme in Serian & Samalaju.

The role requires on-site oversight, QMS deployment, and rigorous audits. The ideal candidate holds a Civil or Electrical Engineering degree with 2+ years in QA/QC or site engineering for HV projects, plus membership in BEM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of QA/QC/Project Engineering or Site Engineering experience for Floating Solar Project.
Minimum 5 years of experience in projects of similar scope for the 275kV/33kV Substation Project, with at least 2 years leading QA/QC.
Familiarity with Malaysia's standards and safety requirements (JKR standards).
Membership of a professional engineering institution such as Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Responsibilities

Oversee QA/QC activities on-site to meet top industry standards.
Collaborate with Project Manager to deploy and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
Conduct quality inductions, site surveillances, and audits to keep the project on track.
Lead Quality Promotion campaigns and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
Ensure adherence to hazard requirements and regulatory standards.
