Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead multiple production lines in a high- tech environment. You will drive daily performance, coach operators, and collaborate with engineers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will optimize operations, troubleshoot issues, manage schedules, and participate in cost-improvement projects while upholding safety and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of operations experience in production/manufacturing.
• Equivalent experience considered for production and manufacturing roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment.
• Evaluate plant performance and advise on changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead a team of engineers and officers to meet quality, cost, delivery targets.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and drive resolutions.
• Coach operators and mentor junior staff through training.
• Collaborate with engineers on plant improvements and project proposals.
• Interface between operations and maintenance functions.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and ensure compliance.
